So, I'm trying to convert an object into WMO format using the blender plugin.

I get it exported just fine, ingame I see nothing but the collision is working.

I don't know what DBC groups to put it is, I don't know what export settings so I just go with default.

It's a dock wmo, so fully outdoors, no portals.

Please help Sad.

If I am not mistaken that would be the Ghost Material (I had to get help with that also when I was converting from .wmo to .fbx. I'm not a blender guru so there might be better ways to go about it, but, what I did was go into edit mode for each object, press A in the model window to deselect all materials, then, go into the material manager on the right and find the ghost material, click it, then click the select button, bring cursor back out into the model window, hit x, delete faces and that should get rid of it.

There might be other ways to do it but that it what I do anyhow Smile. Hope that helps

It might be, Kranimal.

I'll try this, but so far nothing has worked.

Also, I exported it with just one material on it and it reverted to the old WMO in the actual game data.

its not ghost material until now I didn't see anyone used custom wmo in legion

its invisible and for testing use the same wmo in previos expansion and you will see its viewable

and I don't think legion is the best modding expansion now because you cant add new files

In legion you can make gameobjects  (wmo included) available with .gob add  by adding their root id in gameobjectsdisplayinfo.db2 + some server edit. You can add  those existing gobjects because they exist in thé root file. But if you want custom it s not possible. You have to swap. I posted the root in legion pack here and  did a tuto for thé ID's

I just want to get the file working its self, then I'll worry about implementing it via DBC.. for now I'm just replacing it, but it still doesnt work.

he is talking about custom wmo not ingame wmo he can easily rename the custom wmo to ingame wmo for testing but until now no one managed to add custom wmo its invisible ingame

I don't mod legion anymore so I don't know if its possible to make it visible or other people figured it out

yes i know, but unless he doesn't swap it won't work, now that i know he has swapped, he needs to find why it doesn't appear.
