[Archive] One Databank with Heide, one without?

I am a completly new member in WoW Emus and also in c++ and the whole thing ^^

I downloaded the 4.3.4 and followed the complete instructions and got no problems to let the server start. all went great :O

BUT if I have Heide SQL startet with the server and I create characters, there are all gone if I start the server witout having HeidiSQL running. [Image: 1f615.png]

alsoif I change the rates, the worldserver.exe is crushing down, and than shut down ^^ only way to start new is to new install the whole server :/

I apologize for the bad englisch, I am a german user ^^

I struggle a bit understanding your issue;

You are saying that if you create characters when having HeidiSQL open they are saved, but if you have HeidiSQL closed it doesn't save them?

Well that's not really the problem/not possible, are you switching between different MySQL servers?

Hi ^^

no not complet this way. i try better explain

as I startet the server the first time, I had HeideSQL running. my wife and I where connecting, made charakters, watched the new lands and all such stuff.

as i startet the server later without having HeidiSQL running, the characters where gone, even the n worldserver.exe made accounts where gone. so I made all new, I made new accounts, we made new characters. as seid, without having heidisql running in the background, only the sql that was in the download package, that I have to start at first befoe auth.exe and worldserver.exe.

all no problems, all was running.

But as I open HeidiSQL again, there where not the new characters, there where nothing again. As I closed HeidiSQL and startet the Server new, the second time made characters where back.

I do not use any other sql than the one from the download and Heidisql. Heidi just used once as I needed to change the realmlist.

This sounds really strange, have you tried to check the emucoach how to setup video, just so you know what you should open in case you do something wrong;
