[Archive] How do i make something free from the vendor?

i added items to the vendor but im not to sure how to make the items i put in there for free.
i saw some people saying edit the db or something in the area but i looked in mysql and im not sure how to edit the db or find what im suppose to change to make it free. (Im new to creating a private server btw)

Hello, you should download HeidiSQL.
1. Start HeidiSQL and login to your DB.
2. Find the world DB, click it and view all tables.
3. Find a table named item_template and look for a column named "cost".
4. Enter a "0" in there. Restart your server and try it out.

ahh ok i see now ty.
if i change the items cost to being free i assume it will change it on the whole server
so should i make new items that are the same but different id so it can only be bought for free from that vendor not the others that are in like sw or something
