So, my key works etc... I have to have the internet on as it is said for the first time. So.. the server boots, and runs. Was playing it etc. When it's time to shut it down with CNTRL C / .server shutdown 0 or whatnot... the worldserver.exe crashes. and gives that error. I also have the log file that it spat out too, but will post it if asked.

I'm running Win 7 Ultimate.

In order to play this, I have to keep turning on the net when booting up the Worldserver in order for my key to go through. I'm assuming on closing the Worldserver it finalizes the key. Even with the net on and when I shut it down, it still crashes. I prefer to use windows without net access. Has this been brought up before?

If I do decide to put Windows 10 on this machine *despite hating 10* will that key work, or is it now locked to Win 7?

I narrowed the error down to:

ACE_Activation_Queue

That error was repeatedly spat out in the Worldserver crash report.

I took the liberty to install: "ACEInstall_1.27.3250.1427_offline.exe"

From: ACE Software

That makes it so it does save my KEY on boot without net, so that's some improvement. However, the worldserver does still crash when doing the proper closing method.

Any other software you guys might think I need?

Ok, so the Worldserver is still crashing when I go to shut down the server. It still is insiting I have net access to boot it with my key. Like, it's not saving my authentication or something because I'm assuming I have to have the server shut down properly in order to properly save it?

What can I do about this because I don't like having net access on Windows installs. I run Linux for my internet use.

The only solution I can think of is turn on the net adapter in order for Worldserver to allow me to use my premium edition, and then once it verifies, turn off the net. This is kind of a pain. I need some help with this. The only thing I can think of is migrate to 10 hoping this will fix it, but I know the keys are locked to systems. I assume my key is now locked to 7, and I have to wait until June to change my key.

I am able to boot it with the network adaptor enabled, and the ethernet chord unplugged.
