[Archive] Stuck at the loading screen

I've followed all the directions and have looked everywhere I can think of to try to find a solution to get past the loading screen. I have everything set to 127.0.0.1 and have all the ports open. The server seems to be running just fine and I can see the server in game but I can't connect to it. In the realmlist.wtf I have realmlist 127.0.0.1 does the set patchlist need to be changed?

V17 I couldn't get past the loading screen. I just found V18 and it went through no problem.

No I never could get that far. I did find V18 and I got in no problem. The only problem I'm having now is that I can't accept the first quest in any of the starting areas.
Update: The beginning quests still aren't working but my work around on that for now is to just enter the quests manually to accept them. The only thing I can't get to work right now is the Griffon taxis in Eastern Kingdoms. Not a single one works right now.
