Hi guys,

I am desperate. My authserver.exe simply "flashes on and disappears in 1 second" when I click on the file.

1. First I open MySQL.exe in the _Server folder:

2. Then I go into cmd and find the relevant folder to type "authserver.exe" and this is what I get.

My AUTHSERVER.CONF file is using:

Is this the correct LoginDatabaseInfo? It's seems to be the "default" but I don't see any other option on what to input.

This is the WORLDSERVER.CONF if it helps:

Don't even know what else to do cos I've tried a bunch of stuff to no avail, even though I feel like the solution should be simple. Thanks for any advice.

You seemed to have extracted everything into your OneDrive as i see by
Quote: C:\Users\UserOneDrive\Desktop\Release - 7.0 (Free)

First try re-extracting everything to a folder on the desktop itself or another destination you would like.

Do not try to just move everything over, actually re-extract the files as OneDrive is a bit wonky

Sorry it still doesn't work. I basically did everything the same but avoided using OneDrive.

I tried it on another drive (D drive but it gives the exact same errors.

How do I know for sure that my username/passwords are definitely correct? Can anyone confirm the following are 100.0% correct?

AUTHSERVER.CONF

LoginDatabaseInfo="127.0.0.1;3306;EmucoachFree;EmucoachFree;Version7"?

WORLDSERVER.CONF

Why would it say "access denied"?

Are these confirmed as they should be for the free version?

Could you check the "SQLDriverLogFile" to see if it has anything more specific? I cant confirm if those are the free password for the sql database as i use the mists of pandaria VIP version however it passes my sniff test as to how things are named around here.

I will say i still notice the OneDrive in your second screenshot however im going to run on assumption that its an old screenshot you used and not a current "avoided using one drive" screenshot.

Wish i could be better help but i very much brute forced my way through learning to setup my own server and had my own struggles.
