[Archive] In-game quests language - I need information!

Would anyone know how to put the quests in Portuguese? In the client I selected the Portuguese language, I noticed that it has been downloaded in the ptPT folder but the quests are not in Portuguese. Anyone know any information about this? :hmm:

I haven't played around with other languages at all, Since i don't speak any of them. But i know that data is supposed to be held in the localization tables. If you can figure out which rows are Portuguese, And then translate whatever is in there into that language, It should work. But fair warning, It's a gigantic job, Unless by some miracle most of it is in that language already. Another way would be to try and locate a Cata server database that's already in Portuguese. But that would most likely not work with our server, Unless you know how to only copy the localization files.

I imagined this. The strange thing is that even in the vanilla version, the database is all in English. but with client in Spanish the game becomes all in Spanish, including the quests. I figured that cataclysm would be this way. Thanks for the answer.

Well, it seems like it would try to show it in portuguese if you have that client. But at some point it still needs the creature text, and quest text from the server, and that has to be translated too.
