Which I haven't quite figured out how to install yet. I'm also getting the hint that it's for blender 3.4 and not 4.0? I also don't understand 100% why people still use version 2.79. Can't 4.0 just so it all?

I've also got Noggit, and I'll be sitting down with my friend who is a very skilled computer programmer whom I'll be working with to do some modding together.
Our goal is to stick in Vanilla, but having access to things from TBC and WotLK would be nice. We're hoping to do some modding for Vanilla only and I'd like to be able to build and manipulate WMOs to some degree, and build new maps and areas, but unless absolutely required, we were not intending to use too much outside of the Vanilla assets and M2s etc. We were hoping to use as much of the vanilla content and assets as possible.

I do believe we'll make some headway this weekend, however, finding proper tutorials that either aren't broken links, outdated videos etc is pretty tough.

I have also downloaded an entire tool kit from git hub which has a variety of software available to use such as my warcraft studio and I did manage to get Amaroth's tool kit from him

I haven't had any success getting the WoW model viewer to function yet, regardless of the version, My Warcraft studio only works for some things, and I don't know how to make everything work, come together and function as they should.
My goal is to do more of the graphics and models while my buddy does all the programming for both the server and the client. If there's anyone in this community that could send me on the correct path and find some tutorials and videos to follow along I'd be very happy and I'd appreciate it a ton. I'd be stoked if I could also add to this community as well.
Thank you for your time everyone
Note: I'm sure I have a ton to add to this, but I need to start somewhere

Hey Paco, good write up. The emulation community is quite fragmented and you will get better help in specific discords and communities.
As a general recommendation, most tooling is built for 3.3.5. Getting it working in vanilla typically involves manually downporting to 1.12.
There are discords for wow blender studio, noggit reddit, and general WoW emu. I can link them all later on when I get home, but please remind me if I don't.

Yeah, I've been in those and some are either kind of dead (vacant) or I just get no response. To be honest, you're the only one to respond to me on discord, which I'm extremely grateful for and otherwise it's been Amaroth via email and he hasn't modded since 2020

I have had some success with my friend with some things so far. Server and client side we've managed to do a lot and get things running as they should. In terms of Noggit, we did manage to get most Vanilla maps in to access and edit and play around with it.
As you mentioned,.the groups / people are.quite fragmented indeed, and making sense of what tools a person needs, let alone how many versions are required becomes a bit mind boggling.

I think once we sit down again this weekend as I mentioned that some.thinfa will come along a little further, but having some guidance and support from a community would be most excellent.
Also since following along with MTL Media videos on YouTube, some of the nicest mod work has been showcased by him and what I've seen in this group.

Yes... WoW emu is harder than any job I've ever had, but if you stick with it, it can be very rewarding.
It relies on the right people seeing your message at the right time, it's easy for messages to be missed in all the noise.
Try to ask 1 specific thing at a time, lots of questions or stuff too general is hard to answer and people don't want to engage to find out what it is you really need help with.
