Hey, thanks for getting back at me!
Ive meanwhile found another solution that probably works even better for what I have in mind and I probably shouldve pinged you about that, but Im also kinda busy irl
Basically I want the player to be able to play as a demon and I found world.chrraces_dbc (Im on azerothcore btw) and added a row with ID=6 (tauren, for now), set FactionID to 1 and MaleDisplayId and FemaleDisplayId to 5048 (felguard).
That works and everytime I log in now, Im a felguard.
However theres a couple of things that confuse me and I figured Ill post it on azerothcore disc, but maybe you have an idea?
What confuses me is
1) The azeroth wiki (https://www.azerothcore.org/wiki/chrraces) says that FactionID stands for the race, so human, troll etc. But Im pretty sure that the column (ID) stands for the race that is to be affected. It furthermore states that the "alliance" column stands for the faction, but Im pretty sure thats not true as alliance city names are green when I set FactionID to 1 and red when I set them to 2. And I can leave the alliance column on 0...
2) with the settings I have, my worldserver says ```Race (6) has wrong teamid (0) in DBC: wrong DBC files?``` which I dont understand at all. Even when I change the alliance column to something other than "0", the message stays the same.
So maybe the error message is talking about a completely different column? Or maybe a completely different table even?
Anyway, ill probably post this on ac discord, unless you happen to have an idea of whats going on.
