Oh dont worry, i was just foing that for troubleshooting. I have everything backed up. Doesnt matter though, patch-Z wont load even if i dont edit those mpq's.

If that was the case, then why did i receive that error message? If theres no spell.dbc in patch.mpq, then it should load the one from patch-Z. So the only option remaining is that patch-Z isnt being loaded, likely because of that table mismatch error from my earlier post.

It works the absolute opposite way lol. It will load patch-2 if there's no patch-Z, patch if there's no patch-2...

what doesn't work btw ? something you need to know is if you use vmangos it has a bunch of overrides in the database for spells
