"make sure to not use spells ids > 200 000" I think that's my issue. I'll double check later, when I have time.

The problem I'm currently running into is that for every profession trainer NPC I can find, the spell id used is a negative number, which I've read means that it's a reference to a spell id with a positive number, but I have no way of knowing which spell id is being referenced by the negative number.

Ok, with that knowledge, I was able to determine that in the npc_trainer data there is 1 line for each trainer where the id matches to the id of the npc in the creature_template, that 1 line in the npc_trainer data uses a negative spell id, which is a reference that refers to multiple lines within the same npc_trainer data that have the positive value of that spell id as the ID.

So, I set my stuff up to match that, and I made sure that all the spell ids and stuff are linked properly, but it just isn't working.

BTW, I still haven't figured out how to make my Fisherman Crafting spell open up a profession window.

I know, and it should be set correctly. And yes, I have been making sure to export as DBC and patch-z.MPQ. I put the DBC files in my server, and the patch-z in my client. As far as I know, everything should be correct, but it isn't working.
