Sure, just check on the execute spell itself if the glyph is equipped and do the check there.

Not sure if you mean with a dummy effect, but I think that would work for what Im trying to do, thanks!

Execute has the aurastate in the dbcs clientside too homie. He would have to disable that and then run the health checks in the spellscript

I went with the dummy spellscript approach, used CheckProc and it works just fine
