not sure if your still looking for help but i have a similar project im doing that gives you a list of helpers to choose from, select different weapons/auras for them to use etc. when you"hire" them they spawn next to the player and follow them wherever and defend them. I dont have a normal "control" but i use commands instead, for example you say the npcs name and tell them to attack and they go after the selected npc, you can then call them back if you change your mind saying "Olaf return". You can also say "Olaf mount up" and the npc will mount up to follow you faster. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=3vrr2jnT....com/watch?v=QREBM7pON0c if you want i can send you the scripts you'll just have to adjust for 3.3.5 (use setbackdrop)
