Looks like a simple edit for the wow.exe, there's basically just a line in regards to dungeon difficulty that had to be set to 3 up from 1.

In AzerothCore , for example, there is already 1 difficulty, it's epic, does it need to be processed somehow except unitpop?

I can tell you right now even if you make it selectable in the client, and provide core support, something doesnt seem to allow for it to swap over.
