This video was called in a bug report as evidence for an issue. The bug is claimed that the totems being targeted as they are is incorrect.

Basically - I need high level opinions on how threat and aggro should work.

I'd like help identifying the issue. Is the issue that the mobs spawn and attack totems while players are nearby? I know totems are capable and expected to be able to pull aggro if left unattended. But should there be a rule that mobs will see nearby player and ignore the totem?
My first idea for fixing this specific fight was that I can tell the mobs to entirely ignore non-players. But this change was rejected as this could lead to edge cases of players dropping aggro via shadowmeld or other means and the pets still get ignored. (The Lich King is not affected here though). Another thought from another developer is that the problem isn't this specific fight's script but mobs in general should be behaving differently.
