animating m2s from scratch only has very limited support in wbs, and i'm unsure if later versions have it working at all (vaguely recall someone mentioning that it broke at some point)
i wrote a guide for how to use the feature in the wbs discord a while back. I don't think anything else has been written about it since, but I could have missed something.
