Wmo (world mass object) those are the buildings you see. Items, creatures foliage etc are .m2s

Sometimes you need to modify the amount of tris, the render flags, particle colors etc.

Mostly everytime lol. Some of the df models need some hard-coded textures because df uses a different dbc files to determine textures lol

I agree. I do remember from my first port that there were a lot of little things. Even adjusting the mount point of the mount, again it was a guide from like 2016, so I'm sure there's a more streamlined way to do it.
