This is what the video does and is the process I am using for SL characters, but I am now stuck at loading them into the client.
1. Remove TXID with ModRedux9.0 (I do it at this point so its done)
2. Convert m2 to m2i with ModRedux9.0
3. in Blender 2.8 import the m2i with the plugin
4. Reduce the polys from whatever down below 21.8k
-- I dont know whether its possible to increase character customisation so whether certain geosets could be deleted at this point to reduce poly count
-- Likewise I don't know how to identify which geosets aren't used in 3.3.5 and could also be deleted
5. Export model to m2i, save as a different name as the import makes this process quicker if you made a mistake and need to go back in to blender
6. Convert back to m2 with ModRedux9.0
7. Put through MultiConverter
8. Edit CharSections.dbc to have adjusted textures
-- I seem to be having a UV issue with heads and can't work out the face texturing, e.g. Orcs used to have upper and lower header textures, now only have upper

If you try and load the model in WMV it should appear now, albeit with texturing issues. If you try to load it in client you will probably get some errors when you attempt to load it in character customisation.
