So turns out that tutorial is either outdated or the tools I used dont break the UVs. Everything was fine with my texture files and UVs.
I just needed to add the ...skin00_## paths to the CharSections.dbc (and spell them correctly...) and add the given_filename as a hardcoded path in the m2 cause apparently that wasn't there.
Now how are the deathknight eye glows handled, I can't see the wiki say anything about them. Is it a hardcoded path i need to add for each model in either the m2 or a dbc?
