does anybody know if the wotlk wow.exe client had a function to check for MPQ file correctness?
also: maybe the repair.exe of the client could have done a lookup of which mpq contents were broken, to only fix those sections, instead of downloading the entire archive again.
maybe some extra information can be deduced from there anybody knows how the repair.exe worked internally?
