tswow also has a injected dll that does packets, but might be a bit overkill for this specific case

but atleast assuming said injected lua code contained a table with the info, it is a way to get the info to the client

eh, it's doable, although a bit tedious (i did some dbc stuff recently, just extending existing table and making client to utilise new data was a bit of work like jumping to code cave and stuff)
