the GM tool in-game worked with the knowledge base, like you would go in the knowledge base to retrieve tickets if I remember right but you also had something by the minimap to bring it up

when it was open, there was a minimize icon only that would reduce the window down to a 'bar'

in the player view, you could see normal player info that's in the character sheet + a bunch of options under a '...' menu and you could do things like change player stats (temporary), teleport them or to them
