Nope? I mean, it's simply overriding first bytes of hooked function with jump instruction, that leads to __stdcall func. __stdcall ensures that stack is not corrupted.

sorry to bother you, could you forward that CVar__Register param info please?
i have had a look and the client directory i was pointing to was one without any modifications, so those CVars in there were 335a vanilla.
i would like to bring this document to a close and then publish it for the others to use.
