What is ArceMux?
ArceMux is an Mac OS X GUI for ArcEmu that allows you to download precompiled mac binaries, dbc files, maps, vmaps and prebatched mysql databases.
What is this based off of?
ArceMux is just a precompiled, mac-version of ArcEmu, that comes with all the accessories and such. It uses the latest version of ArcEmu (whenever you run the tool, it downloads the latest version possible.) and WhyDB.
How do I use it?
If you run a Mac OSX (Intel), it's straightforward. Just run the application, and the GUI will guide you through the rest. It's very simple, even for those who are new to emulation.
If you run windows - too bad! This is MAC ONLY.
What version of WoW does this support?
Currently, ArceMux is made to support 3.2.2a. They will have 3.3 support updated soon.
The ArceMux developer does not patch, enhance, or change ArcEmu. It's simply ported over to Mac in a simple, user-friendly format.
