Edit: I have a problem. I left it running for a few hours using an empty items table and it failed to add anything. I keep getting messages that it's a duplicate entry, even though there is nothing in the table.

I wrote a quick app in .NET that scanned the SQL database and made a list of item ID's that didn't exist, and it only took about 10 seconds to return and array of all the ItemID's that weren't already present.
