I followed the method suggested here https://discordapp.com/channels/40766404...7301968936
Added custom AccountLogin.lua to every MPQ with the MPQ name as the default login name, opened the client, noted the login name, removed AccountLogin.lua from that MQP, rinse and repeat.

would be nice to also test this in non english locale, it's been found that for non english clients locale patch-x is higher prio than data patch-x

I also just double checked the commons, expansion, and lichking and confirmed common > common-2 and expansion > lichking
