if i am not completely mistaken, the .net runtimes, same as java stuff, is always compatible downwards... so the newest .net runtime should run all apps which have been written with older versions.
i would just download the latest one

never had any problems myself though... so i would just give it a go... having the latest .net runtime isn't bad anyway
