[Archive] [Release] ArcEmu Gamemaster's Helper (GMH)
Quote:NOTE: Please remember, This addon needs you! I need you to report as many bugs as you find to help this addon get bug-free!
NOTE: THIS ADDON ONLY SUPPORTS ARCEMU PRIVATE SERVERS. PLEASE DO NOT REPORT BUGS IF YOU ARE USING IT ON A DIFFERENT EMULATOR THAN ARCEMU
This is the GM Helper. This addon will help you use most of the GM Commands without the repetitiveness of typing them out, and it is divided into separate forms. Each form is dedicated to a specific group of commands (For example, ModifyForm is for all the Modify commands, OverrideForm is for all Cheat commands etc. etc.) As commands have changed with ArcEmu, the Addon has kept up with support and supported everything new.
The GM Helper also comes with Ticket Tracker, an addon originally developed by 1337dood and picked up by me. This addon helps you easily manage and answer Player's Tickets.
This addon used to be developed by Rushowr and his team but the project died and was never really taken up by anyone not biased to a specific server, until I decided to pick it up by myself. I have continued with it ever since, keeping it similar to how it was designed. Simple and easy to use.
You can download the Addon in ZIP format, Here!
or....You can download the addon in RAR format, Here!
and....
You can track all changes and all the updates for it via SVN, here!

lawl (Ex-Developer) - lawl@thedanisme.com (Got me to start working on this project again, AND help me find a great server. Thank you, lawl)

Quote: Nice, I am updating to 3.1 in a matter of days on all of my realms and was looking for just this thing. I am head gm of a modest server (5 realms) and have been looking for an update for a while. I don't want to seem too forward, but may I make a few suggestions?.
I would love to see a ticket window that is scalable or have the ability to change the opacity. Maybe an icon on the minimap or a simple ticket alert tag next to or on the ticket button that shows how many tickets are up. I have my gm sync channel set up so i can see the time a ticket comes in and who picks it up when but I would love to be able to see how many tickets are up at a glance as I work without having to go into the window. Also, maybe an option to extend the duration of the on-screen reminder of "new ticket" would be cool.
Anyway thanks for picking up the project for all us lackies out there. I look forward to seeing any and all improvements you have the time to make

Quote: Im having some issues with tickets refreshing for me. I have to close the ticket window and open it again to see new tickets. Doesnt sound like anyone else is having this issue. All of my gms are experiencing it though. We are on an aspire 3.1.x atm.
also where in the db should I have my devs put "select entry. name1 from items;"? Im such a noob when it comes to programming but i would love to not have to run my antrix when im working on my npcs and .go stuff. Thanks in advance.

This is actually a really good suggestion. I have been looking at the ability to change opacity and size and while I am not yet close to mastering it...You can expect to see it sometime in the future.

I have actually already implemented this in GMH 1.1. The value will be able to be set by doing /tttalerttime (#). If no value has been set, it will default to 5 seconds

GMH only supports an ArcEmu core. There are alot of features that would have to be taken out if I ever did support Aspire. But, that'll never happen as long as ArcEmu exists.
but thank you again, for your wonderful suggestions. I am sorry it took me so long to read this thread.
