Not true. To be honest, the privilege at all is for them to have the presence of players.
Honestly think about it, what does a server owner get out of owning a server? Working hard to fix stuff and etc, do you think its for free?
Its to have his/her server on top and racking in the donations so they can earn extra cash. You cannot name 1 top server without donations. And if you think all the donations goes into server costs, you have to be crazy.

This only works if your IP is Dynamic, my IP is Static and my ISP won't change my IP in a click of my fingers, by the time I would get them to do it, they ask us to turn off our modem for 24 hours lol, so this would be a much better way!Wish I had a Dynamic IP =/
