so if i set in spell effect 1 to trigger the spell of absorb it should work got it. and then the second spell will have apply aura, target_unit_caster and spell_absorb

nah, I mean you have to set a trigger condition in effects 1 so the script actually fires the onProc function. The absorb spell id is set inside the script in the line "player->CastSpell(player,510000,args);"

when exactly is the player supposed to gain the shield btw. think you only mentioned that it's a legendary item effect and proc based.

well in legion its proc every 30 seconds even out of combat. so that's why im confused about it. even in procs there is nothing that's seems to fit

yea nah, you should use SPELL_AURA_PERIODIC_DUMMY on the passive then and OnTick function in the script
