It allows you to write smart addons and macro's which should automatically do stuff for you.
If you dont know what thats for, your better off using wowemuhacker.
Heres a nice list of smart macro's:

I think they are for wotlk, and you most likely gonna need to edit them if your playing tbc.

yes, its detected on servers that have their port of warden on (tc2 and mangos servers)

yes, its detected on servers that have their port of warden on (tc2 and mangos servers)

Use this on shitty servers with clueless devs(90% of them) and you should be fine.
