how would windows vm know that 0.0.0.0 should be routed to ur linux ?

Well 0.0.0.0 = all interfaces so technically speaking, it should work UNLESS, I'm not understanding what those address fields in the realmlist table are and how they work.

routers dns certainly didnt give u 0.0.0.0 so u would have to manually set that up
