Small, badly written console program that will play a sound file called "alert.wav" whenever your BG queues pop. You can change the sound file if you want, just make sure you keep the same file name. All memory reading, no injecting or anything that would get you banned.
- Only useful if you queue up and like to tab out to do other things, since the Vanilla client doesn't have an "Enable Background Sound" option.
- It checks every 3 seconds to see if the queue is ready and then plays the .wav file.
I haven't had too much time to extensively test it for minor bugs since I just wrote it and the PvE server isn't at a peak time, but it does work as intended (on Win7). File size for the .rar archive is 170KB due to the size of the sound file - might change that out for a different sound file at some point. Do note that it will not work if your WoW's window title is not "World of Warcraft", as that is what the program initially looks for to start reading memory.
- Works with WSG/AB/AV.
Reuploaded and added a check for AV, was only able to test it in WSG because there weren't any AV or AB queues happening. If it keeps playing the sound after joining just close the program and reopen the next time you queue.
