but without removing signature protection u cant do that client wont accept changed files of that type in patch

I think all servers that for example change the login screen by means of lua/xml has to unlock the protection from the client, granting access to protected functions
please correct me if i'm wrong here

For example `GetGMStatus()` which could be used to develop addons that only provide a UI if you have GM enabled. Do these even return values from the server when called?

gm status is applied in some client unit flag I think
