Is there a way to stop npcs from resetting after the battle ends? That they stay exactly where they are when they kill something and their buffs and debuffs dont get removed?

On leave combat you could update home location to current location. But auras will still be reset.

Setting in combat with zone would work, but all players in the zone would be in combat with it.

If you look at where creature_addon data is handled in the emu, it can provide a set of auras to apply to the creature there. That would give you all the call points that would need your custom logic to reapply auras. Or perhaps you can prevent it firing and leaving combat with a custom flag
