In case I'm just doing something wrong there and can fix it... is there a way to cause /reload from the server without modifying the client?

Robinsh had created a hot reload type of thing I think would help, but I doubt he'd part with it for less than a pile of gold.
I know you can have scripts and npcs use gm commands on players but I'm unsure how to force a slash command.

Okay, thanks for the lead. Yeah, a hot reload would be perfect.

I'll snoop around. If anyone else has ideas, please share. This has been a stumper.

I checked out his work. That's super interesting. Looks like it's hot reloading from local client though. I really just need the player object from the server to be full repushed.

I don't know for sure but my gut is telling me you're gonna have to modify the client and tracking down that fatal error from /reload is the way

Yeah... it feels that way. I'm trying to make this an open source mod for Azerothcore, and would hate to package a client mod with it (let alone having to figure that out exactly).

I might just settle with the 'your class will change on next relog'
