Spell missiles are a real pain, I was trying to do some logic where I need the missile to visually hit the player before the spell effect is triggered but there was always edge cases where the effect gets applied first

Ahh alright. I was just going to mess with this when I get home from work today so figured I'd see if anyone has gone in depth with it.

Is it possible without without scripts to create a spell that spawns a mob on the caster that walks to the radial cursor destination, in your expert opinion? Been trying to play around with something like a spell that summons the naxxramas living poison frogger slimes on you, going in either the direction the caster is facing or between point a (caster) and point b (targeted area)

Even a spell that did that but the npcs spawned path randomly in a given radius for X seconds would be cool. Instead of the insta kill nax spell the "slimes" could cast a stun or a root then die.

But then youd need to make sure the stuns/roots wouldn't overlap if two of the npcs moved over the same character, so wouldn't DR or stun lock the player.

Yes, that's a straight forward script. Don't think so without a script

I was really hoping to not have to dive into c++ lol. Looks like that's my new project tonight.

C++ spell scripts are very simple, you barely need to know c++
