Is there anything I have to do before using the ground effect adder on a custom/edited map?
I've been working on some stuff behind stormwind (place works / appears in game) but when I try to use the ground effect adder it seems like it doesn't recognize the new places I painted - I added grass to the port in stormwind, but not the area I've added.
I didn't use any custom textures so I don't think I need to make a new entry in the dbc

You probably need only need the item dbc for these fields:
ItemClass
ItemSubClass
sound_override_subclassid
MaterialID
ItemDisplayInfo
InventorySlotID
SheathID
Everything will be taken from SQL database (possible that you need to deactivate DBC.EnforceItemAttributes in your config, depending on your emulator)
