The inheritence of stats can be a huge hassle, its done though the core but it checks it in multiple places, and you need to edit the petpaperdoll lua in the interface files

I created 4 possible Forest Guardian pets for druid, and they inherit stats in different ways, have unique abilities that are level specific, etc..

It took me over a month of doing some, getting irritated, stopping, coming back to it, etc... a lot of trial and error unless you are fluent in the interface, dbcs, and core
