don't think inspecting works since local client can have a different cache version

As long as the item is local to the player, it works fine, but once it is distributed, the item id itself becomes tainted unless you have unique ids for each player

id allocation will not be an issue for our use case, we don't need 'fully dynamic' items and it would be possible but not optimal for us to pre-render entries into item.dbc
