This isn't the first time this has happened, and I think it has to do with the image format. By exporting it as TGA, I can see all of the data, and can edit it. The problem starts when I go to load it back into the game. If I export it as a TGA and run back through BLPNG, it renders like the original image I sent, as if the gem isn't even present. However if I export it as a PNG I can convert it from PNG->BLP and at least get it all somewhat rendering. The issue is it introduces this 'blackening' of the model at certain distances.

I ran into this problem on noggit red and hoping some1 has encountered it before. My mass importing height map was working just fine and then all of a sudden it wont work. I can import height files 1 by 1 when im over the correct tile i want. But i can't get the global import to work. The files are labeled correctly and they are a PNG file. I appreciate any and all help. Thank you!
