yeah cuz Ive only dealt with c++ so far, but from my understanding lua scripts are a lot smaller and could be a niche way for me to learn the language

Then if u enjoy wow and wanna do lua for it do it. All tho i would probably go with azerothcore as it got more active base to work on with more apis added.

Isn't this as simple as setting a flag for the buff that requires bear/dire bear form? If you look at the Leader of the Pack aura you'll see that it requires cat or either bear form to be active
