no, even noggit doesn't render anything close to the ingame look. best bet is to just port a small amount of adts and inspect those

post-wotlk renderer is so different that things can turn out very different depending on how much it relies on modern shading etc

sure but azeroth didnt change that much not that it would look like from that version due to changes in renderer but it should look fine on wotlk....im thinking about swapping out azeroth map but im not sure which version to get mainly i dont rly remember what is different between cata and legion version

oh, right. easiest is prolly to just grab those with some repack and look inside the game. i don't know of a map viewer that works reliably for all of them, but someone else might
