maybe? but idk the file names and all the expansions armor are just thrown into item.mpq, but i only want the 1 raids worth from cata

yeah I have a tool that can parse ADTs and extract only the M2s, WMOs, and BLPs used. Something similar could be done for parsing ItemDisplayInfo and grabbing required assets
