I just don't understand what it corresponds to in the DBCs. From wowdev.wiki v3.3.5 (https://wowdev.wiki/DB/LightFloatBand)
```md
Number Description
0 Fog distance multiplied by 36 - distance at which everything will be hidden by the fog
1 Fog multiplier - fog distance * fog multiplier = fog start distance. 0-0,999...
2 Celestial Glow Through - the brightness of the sun and moon as it shows through cloud cover. Note that this effect only appears when the Sun or Moon is being obscured by clouds. 0-1
3 Cloud Density - Controls the density of cloud cover in the area. Value range is 0.0 to 1.0.
4 ?
5 ?
```
From what I understand, ***"Fog multiplier*** is actually nearclip. So in the DBC settings I can edit 2 values: farclip and nearclip (number 0 and 1 respectively)
But in WMT there are 3 settings. It doesn't appear to me that fog density corresponds to either. Is there something I'm misunderstanding?

Honestly not sure off the top of my head, every time I need to edit it I go into some dark rabbit hole.
Important to remember you have a fixed number of rows which effectively make up the record, where each row represents a different light setting
I think I ended up playing with the data and connecting WMT each time to see which values were modified

I do think there's a value in WMT that cant be achieved via dbc, i think it was the nearclip maybe? idk But i'm pretty sure of it

fog density is calculated, you can't set it to whatever value you want

Well, one thing I observe in Azeroth maps is that **fog density** is __always__ 1.
In Outland and Northrend it can be different

Any idea what factors into the equation?

I think the indices are based on current game time.

~~And not all of them are used. It can have up to 16 entries~~
