From my experience WOTLK players don't care that much about having pure blizzlike mechanics and content, vanilla players are freaks and always aim for absolute blizzlike accuracy and look for any minor detail

I've myself spent hours experimenting with chain pulling, aggro links, resets etc on classic

you shouldn't be able to pull several creatures, kite one and have the others reset, they should be linked
