Okay, but the way I read it it's the 7th bit that isn't "true" which is still a gnome not tauren, no?

Well... I did an experiment and used -1 there since I remember in different DBCs that's what "everything" means (and frankly I need all the races to hide their hair under hats and helmets anyway) and it worked. But I still don't understand why tf -65 hides tauren hair and not gnomes
