I feel like I've seen the solution before but I can't seem to find it now. Does anyone remember/know how to allow item names with custom colors to be linked in chat?

I know there's the strict chat toggle in worldserver.txt but switching it doesn't seen to change anything.

I think I also remember seeing that modifying chathandler.cpp could work?

It's safe to assume what works on TC works on AC

Obviously features added after they diverged aren't necessarily available on either cores, but the extractors aren't new, they've been around forever

Does it break something if I add other patches to the list that the extractors pull from in source instead so it can just read all of them? I think I see where it lists them and it looks easy enough to add more, but just wondering since I've never heard of anyone recommending doing that.

You can, but you have to take load order into account

That makes sense. If I list them in load order it should be fine though, right? Like if I add patch-6 after patch-5 it should load after patch-5 I'd assume.
