yeah, ive been using bitmasks for my atrtibutes, as long as theres good documentation I get by fine, what I lack in technical savvy/skill I can generally make up for with time.

it goes up to 32 because a normal integer (uint 32) has 32 bits, that's why it's split into 3 values to go up to 96

what types of spell mechanics are not possible through spell editor(dbc) configuration ? im not sure if it can be generalized i just want to know what i dont even have to attempt since it wont work so i can right from start focus on doing that spell as server script

That's hard to sum up. I'd recommend reading the spell.dbc documentation, especially the effect and aura effect columns. That should give you a decent idea what is and isn't possible
