I just had to go through it all manually, using existing spells as a base since I couldn't find a solid tool for it. I haven't used it for spells but wow.export might help with being able to actually see it pre implementation?

If using 3.3.5 the spell editor has some spell visual editing support, and there's a UML diagram on the repo readme

Like this one I copied off an arbitrary glaive spell and it took some math to change the throw angle from vertical to horizontal and then mirror it.(this is an old version, it's been cleaned up since then)

That's right! I actually use your program as an easy to read reference for spells and then do it in dbc(i know its more work but I stubbornly stick to my roots with that one). I totally forgot that you have a tab for visuals

it's easier to edit some data in the dbc's than using the gui tbh, I don't want to put in the time to make a half decent UI

I just do kit/effect/attachment data and basic creation of spell visuals in the editor

Honestly the UI is more than decent enough for the intended uses. But for the sake of his interests it does still just accomplish the same thing as reading the dbcs since it's just ints and strings.
